Luicy Pedroza holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Bremen (summa cum laude). Her work is interdisciplinary, combining Political Science and Sociological perspectives, specifically at the intersection of comparative studies of migration policies and citizenship and nationality. Over the last decade, her research has focused on the dilemmas that liberal democracies face in integrating migrant populations (both emigrants and immigrants) into political life.
She lives and works in Mexico City.
